***Before you can request a course, you must create an account, and complete your profile settings.***


To Request a Course:


  1. Log into the VTVLC Student Information System, Maestro, to begin requesting courses. You were emailed your login credentials when you created your account. If you do not remember your credentials, please click the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page. 

Note: For elementary students with nonfunctional email addresses you should have written down your username and password during account creation



  1.  Select 'Academic Info' from the left hand navigation menu, followed by 'Request a Course'.




  1. Search for "Full Time" in the Course search bar and then select the + symbol next to "Full Time Program (Grades K-6) FY22


  1. A window will appear asking you to fill out some additional information. 

    1. Preferred Term - Full Time (FY22)

    2. Reason - select a reason from the drop down menu

    3. Click the icon of the book that corresponds with the correct grade level so the book appears open

    4. Select Add Course Request 


  1. You will receive a confirmation message that your course request was submitted


  1. Once you have made your selection, that’s it! Your course request will be sent to your school counselor for final approval. You will receive an email once your course request has been approved.

    1. Note: Elementary content courses will be loaded by VTVLC. All you need to request is the Full Time grade level for the correct courses for your child.
