Creating an account and is a two-step process.  

It involves creating an account and completing your profile settings. 

It is important that the student is the individual who completes the registration process and the contact information provided is that of the student. Parent information will be gathered as a part of registration, but should not be used as the primary contact for the student. 

  1. Go to 

  2. Click 'Apply Now'

  3. Provide information requested and click 'Submit'.  (When creating a student account, please provide the email of the individual taking the course.  A parent account will be created later.  It is important to have the student's email on file as that will be VTVLC's and the teacher's primary form of the communication with the student.)

  4. A message will appear that your account was successfully created and will provide you your username. You will also receive an email with your account information if you prefer to finish your account setup another time.

    Now that your account is created, you must complete your 'Profile Settings' before you can request a course. Please logout and back in with the credentials you were given. 

  5.  Click the 'Complete Profile Settings' under 'Profile' link to complete your profile.

  6. Provide the information requested.  All fields with an asterisk are mandatory.  If you do not have all this information you need, then simply click 'Save for Later' button to save what you have entered and come back to finish when you have the information you need.

  7. Once you have completed all the required information, click 'Submit' button.

  8. Now log out and back in.  When you log back in, you'll be able to begin requesting courses.
